Open Day Sunday 13th August
Please note that due to the bad weather we have rescheduled the open day from Sunday 6th until Sunday 13th August
Everyone is welcome to visit our allotments. Gates open 11:30am and entry is free. There will be stalls selling produce and activities for kids.
As per tradition, there will also be a vegetable show where plot holders can enter produce they have grown to be judged and hopefully win a prize or two.

Next year get a proper judge who will judge every plot.And get a proper criteria to judge plot and borders
The plots and boarders were Judged by two individuals with 40 years of experience who have judged the SR show for many years. They provided advice on those exhibits which came 2nd or 3rd, even if they were the only exhibit, such as poor presentation etc. The plots/boarders were reviewed each one twice taking at least an hour overall before the decision as to position was taken independently by the Judges. For those who won a trophy, well done, I know some of you won several. Dont forget we need them back next year for the 2024 show.
