Sapling Road Allotments, Bolton

Our annual general meeting will be held in the amenity hut on Sunday 17th March at 2pm All plot holders welcome.

The annual allotment bonfire will take place on Sunday 5th November. Everyone is welcome. Unfortunately no fireworks are permitted.

We have had some wood chip dropped off near the top gate. There are two piles – the left one is mainly willow ( hardwood ) and the pile on the right is a mix of soft and hard woods with a little conifer mixed in. The willow is perfect for mulching under fruit bushes and trees and or making paths.The mixed chip is good for paths and for mulching ericaceous plants. Both can also be used by new tenants…
