Free wood chip available
We have had some wood chip dropped off near the top gate. There are two piles – the left one is mainly willow ( hardwood ) and the pile on the right is a mix of soft and hard woods with a little conifer mixed in. The willow is perfect for mulching under fruit bushes and trees and or making paths.The mixed chip is good for paths and for mulching ericaceous plants. Both can also be used by new tenants…

Waiting list open again.
We’ve already had a couple of emails asking about applying for an allotment. The good news is we’ve now been informed that the waiting list has been reopened for Sapling Road and a few other local allotments. Open Day Sunday 13th August
Please note that due to the bad weather we have rescheduled the open day from Sunday 6th until Sunday 13th August Everyone is welcome to visit our allotments. Gates open 11:30am and entry is free. There will be stalls selling produce and activities for kids.
